Qualifying Education Requirements
The Board may accept a course of study to satisfy pre-licensing education requirements for certification or licensing established by the Act or by the rules if the Board has determined that the course is related to real estate appraisal and was:
- offered by an accredited college or university, or was approved by the Appraiser Qualification Board under its course approval process as a qualifying education course; and
- at least 15 classroom hours in duration, which must include successful completion of an examination.
