About Board Members
The TALCB is a nine member board composed of four certified real estate appraisers and four public members appointed by the Governor to serve staggered six-year terms. The Executive Secretary of the Texas Veterans Land Board (or their designee) is the ex-officio ninth member.
All Board members must complete annual training of TALCB programs, finances, operations, rulemaking authority, etc. The TALCB Board Member Training Guide contains all information required to meet this statutory obligation.
The board welcomes comments from the public and license holders. Contact the members directly.

Staff
Daily Administration of the Board is entrusted to the Executive Director of both the Texas Appraiser Licensing and Certification Board and the Texas Real Estate Commission.
