  • Become a Volunteer Appraisal Reviewer

    TALCB is accepting applications for Volunteer Appraisal Reviewers (formerly called Peer Investigative Committee members). Serving as a Volunteer Appraisal Reviewer is an opportunity for experienced appraisers to serve the public interest and give back to the appraisal profession. Volunteer Appraisal Reviewers serve for a two-year term and conduct appraisal reviews for aspiring appraisers.

  • TALCB Fee Changes as of January 1, 2022

    In 2019, the Texas Appraiser Licensing and Certification Board approved rules that increase fees in order to improve customer service and provide a higher level of support for license holders. As the second phase of the approved rules, effective January 1, 2022, certain initial application and renewal fees are increasing.

    The Texas Appraiser Licensing and Certification Board (TALCB) is pleased to announce the launch of the TALCB complaint portal.

  • ACE One-Time Course Offering Online Transaction Now Available

    The Texas Appraiser Licensing and Certification Board (TALCB) is pleased to announce a new online transaction for ACE Providers.  This transaction will allow Appraiser Continuing Education (ACE) providers to pay the fee for a One-Time Classroom Course Offering (i.e.: lunch and learn) online using TALCB Online Services.
